We don't know who bought it
Apple doesn't give developers buyer information. All we know is the date, the country (Korea), the product and the amount, and we didn't try to find out more. The app itself has no accounts and sends no data off the phone.
What happened that week
- Oct 24: The 1.4 review was rejected over the keyword "ChatGPT," and the AI resubmitted 7 minutes later (how that went).
- Oct 25: First purchase. The version on the store at the time was 1.3.
- Oct 26: 1.4 released. 1.4.1, which only cleaned up trademark keywords, came after that.
We don't know what drove the purchase. Naming a cause from a single sale would be making up a story.
